May 26-27 Lifeguard Training in Reading

Join us for American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and recertification class. You’ll learn the basics in water safety and the proper protocol when dealing with any emergencies around water. You’ll also learn effective techniques to deliver prompt care to those in need and how to respond safely and efficiently to water emergencies.

Please bring a mask, bathing suit, towel, pen, and a packed lunch.


We will be following social distancing guidelines.
You must wear a mask to class.

Date: Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27, 2021
Time: 8:30am – 4:30pm Wednesday and 8:30am – 4:30pm Thursday
Location: West Reading Community Pool

The class will start at the pool and end at the fire department.

Cost: $280 for lifeguard certification and $175 for lifeguard recertification.
*Times may be adjusted based on pool availability and number of students.

4. Once completed take a picture or print your certificate to bring to class.
