The purpose of the American Red Cross Basic Life Support challenge course is to give individuals the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency outside of a formal class setting. The participant is responsible for preparing for the test scenario and final exam. Take advantage of Red Cross’s online course. Instructions are below.
The challenge course option is available to all individuals with a current Basic Life Support certificate and those who do not hold a certificate.
Participants who hold a current Basic Life Support certificate may challenge as often as courses are available and their certificate remains valid. Participants who do not possess a current Basic Life Support certificate may only challenge once. If you do not hold a current certificate and do not pass the challenge course, you will have to take the Basic Life Support class.

Class will begin promptly as scheduled. If you are late, you will not be permitted to enter and will forfeit your class fees.

You may access and take the online portion in preparation for your challenge. Please go to https://shoensafety.com/resources/ and select the blended learning for your class.
Instructions:
1. Click course name.
2. Click create account.
3. Log in and click launch course.
4. Once completed take a picture or print your certificate to bring to class.
